- Vela is a very confident sarcastic bitch, she can chew up any Karen who dares to try and ruin her perfect day. Try and be homophobic in her presents and she destroy you worse than Karen.
- She knows very vell how to push someones buttons to get what she wants or to get away from a punishment, yeah she is a bit manipulative. For example if she caused chaos at university and got in trouble for it, she'll tell her mom Inkwell that it was all because they had the audacity to read Daring Do books in class. 10/10 times that will work on Inkwell and she would be proud of her daughter.
- Vela will trash and call fashion police on anyone who wears an ugly outfit. But don't worry she won't leave that poor pony like that, she'll defenetly gonna make them a stunning outfit. That actually how she make friends and shows affection.
- Unlike her moms she doesn't have problems with social skills, she easily starts a conversation with somepony, i mean she loves to talk, a lot. That's why she helps Inkwell with all that stuff, like ordering food for her or talking to newspaper editors.
- Vela loves to party and being in the center of attention, that's why everytime that she shows up at some event, she wears ridiculously fashionable outfits(but they gorgeous and very bold).
- Usually Vela uses her magic for designing and sewing, but don't be fooled by that, she is very gifted unicron. Vela can preform high-leveled spells and if someone dare's to threaten her family or friends, they will regret it immediately.
- Her hair look seems kinda old-fashion, but darling, old-fashion is the trend now. Inkwell and Starlight like to joke that one of them is cheated with Rarity. Speaking of Rarity, she was a huge inspiration for Vela when she was little. But nowadays Vela can be amused by a bigger fish, like Canterlot designers. That's because as soon as she finished school, she moved to the Canterlot to enroll in fashion university.

Получив крылья и титул Принцессы Дружбы, Твайлайт знала, что однажды ей придётся выбрать себе ученицу, так же, как когда-то Селестия выбрала её. Новоиспечённая Принцесса представляла, что этот день настанет не скоро и что у неё будет много времени на подготовку. Кто же знал, что на неё как снег на голову свалится Старлайт Глиммер. Традиционно, Принцесса выбирает себе талантливого единорога в ученики. Никто не спорит, что Старлайт очень одарённая. Вот только особого выбора с ней у Твайлайт не было. Старлайт нужно было направить в правильное русло и Твай идеально подходила для этой работёнки. Будучи учителем Старлайт, Твай многому научилась, конечно же и совершила много ошибок, которые в будущем превратились в жизненный опыт. Когда обучение Старлайт было закончено, Твай пообещала себе, что со следующим учеником всё будет по-другому, в этот раз она всё сделает правильно.
Правда прошло несколько лет прежде чем Твай наконец-таки решилась взять под своё крыло ещё одного ученика. К тому моменту Твай уже заметно подросла, а её грива начала немного развиваться и в ней появились звёздочки, что сияли в ночи. Твайлайт отправилась в Кантерлот, навестить школу Одарённых единорогов Селестии, чтобы там выбрать себе учеников. Но несколько дней ходя по коридорам, наблюдая за жеребятами, Твайлайт никак не могла сделать выбор. Селестия подбадривала её, говоря не торопится, но Твай как обычно загонялась и переживала по этому поводу. Что-то было не так, но на тот момент она не могла понять, что именно.
Неделю пробыв в Кантерлоте, Твайлайт пришлось уехать обратно в Понивилль, ибо обязанности директора Школы Дружбы поднакопились уже. Твай предстояло посетить несколько разных школ Эквестрии, ибо желающие поступить в её школу Дружбы было много, а согласовывать переезд с родителями и школой предстояло ей. Её миссия проходила успешно, а главное мирно, без происшествий. В одном из писем к ней обращался приют, который предлагал сотрудничество с Школой Дружбы. Конечно Твай не могла забрать всех сирот, но в плане было перевести в её школу тех, кто больше других нуждался в социализации.
Приехав туда и начав знакомиться с персоналам и учениками, Твайлайт заметила земнопони, что сидела поодаль от других и рассматривала книгу с довольно сосредоточенной мордашкой. Твай подошла к девочке и попыталась заговорить, выяснить что за книгу она читает. Но земная лишь убежала в свою комнату. Учителя рассказали, что девочка отстаёт от других, ещё не умеет читать и плохо разговаривает, а самое главное у неё нет друзей.
И в этот момент для Твайлайт всё стало яснее самого светлого дня Селестии. Причина, по которой Твай не могла выбрать себе ученика крылась в том, что в глубине души ей совсем не нравился концепт выбора самого талантливого ученика, на которого возлагается куча ожиданий и ответственности. Она по себе знает, какой это стресс пытаться всему этому соответствовать. Поэтому-то ей было так трудно с выбором. Она ни для кого не хотела такой же судьбы. Её ученик не должен быть самым умным, самым сильным в магии, от него не должны ожидать горы свершений, не обязательно становится аликорном, следующей Принцессой.
Так Твайлайт сделала свой выбор, хоть сотрудники приюта и пытались отговорить её. Ведь зачем Принцессе не то что в свою школу переводить отстающую ученицу, но ещё и делать её своей ученицей. Твай же была непреклонна. В этот раз выбор был за ней и никто не мог у неё этого отнять. Но девочка в итоге стала не просто её ученицей, а приёмной дочерью. Публика же посчитала, что Принцесса просто скрывала от назойливых папарацци свою родную дочь, а теперь решила привести её в свою Школу Дружбы. Ведь девочка так похожа на Твайлайт, значит она действительно её дочь.

After becoming Princess, Twilight knew that one day she will have to choose her own student, just like Celestia did with her. She thought that this day would not come soon and that she will have plenty of time to prepare for the role of the mentor. After all it's a big responsibility, a young inexperienced alicorn like her can't have a student of her own, first she need to gain wisdom, life experience e.t.c Oopps. Starlight Glimmer fell like a snow on her head. She wasn't ready to became a mentor, she didn't choose her the right way, but she also didn't have a choice, Starlight needed her guidance. It wasn't easy, she was making mistakes and learning from them. Sure she wasn't alone, Celestia was there to help her and give her advice. But it was another stressful time of her life, that still haunt Twilight in nightmares. That's why after Starlight graduated, Twi took a long break from the whole mentor thing.
Years have passed, Twilight started to graw taller and taller, her mane slowly becoming more wavy and stars appeared in her mane that glew in the dark. Of course by alicorn standards she still was very young, like teenager only alicorn-like. Yet this time Twilight finally felt like she's ready to became a mentor again. This time she will do everything right, she will choose herself a student. And so she traveled to Canterlot to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Her quest of finding a student began. Days passed, then weeks, but Twilight still wasn't able to choose anybody. Celestia was trying to be supportive, saying that it's okay to struggle with this, but Twilight was freaking out as usual. Was it THAT hard to pick someone, there's plenty of talented students in Celesta's school. But at that time she didn't realize what exactly was stopping her from choosing someone.
She had to return to Ponyville, because she had her own school of Friendship to manage and there was a long "to-do" list waiting for her. Recently there was a lot of new letters arriving to her school, of students who wanted to join the School of Friendship. Obviously she couldn't choose everybody, that's why she had to go through the mail herself. She tried to learn as much as possible about ponies situations and based on that knowledge decide if pony indeed need to go to her school. There was one letter that stood out from other.
It was from the orphanage in the Manehattan and they offered to collaborate with the School of Friendship. They wanted to draw attention to the problems of orphanages and help children. Of course there's kids in orphanage that have no problem with making friends and being social, but some of them struggle a lot with this, so the director of the orphanage thought that the School of Friendship could help them with this. Also in Twilight's school there's a whole different atmosphere that could help them to open up more. Students anyway live in campus during school year, so they could be there and return to the orphanage on the hollidays. Of course they send somepony from their stuff to Twilight school to look after their orphans. Twilight did like this idea, so she packed her stuff and went to the Manehattan.
She was meeting stuff and introducing herself to the children, whe she noticed earth pony girl, who dropped her book and run away crying. Twilight was confused and asked what happened. Teacher told her, that this girl doesn't speak well, she can't read and it's really hard to communicate with her. Twilight asked if she could talk to her and the teacher agreed, only warning that there wouldn't be much talking. And that's exactly what happened, Twilight asked a few question, the girl didn't answer and they left her alone.
But only after this Twilight finally realized why she couldn't choose herself a student. She didn't like the idea of choosing the most talented unicorn, who will have to live up to a lot of expectations and responsibility. She knows how freaking stressful it is, she truly greatfull for everything that she has, but it did a lot of damage to her mental health. And she doesn't want her student to repeat her fate. Her student doesn't have to be smartest, strongest in magic, nopony should expect from her student nothing great, her student doesn't have to become alicorn. And so in a long time finally SHE made a decision. Not Celestia or anypony else for her.
She took the earth pony girl under her wing, despite the fact that the stuff tried to talk her out of it. They couldn't understand why she wanted to waste her time on the girl that doesn't talk and can't read. Transforming her to School of Friendship is one thing, but making her the apprentice of the Princess of Friendship is the whole other level. Twilight wasn't going to change her mind, because this was the only thing besides opening her own school, that Twilight was 100 percent sure of.
And so earth pony girl became not ony her student, but also her adopted daughter. And the funny thing is that everypony thought that she is the real daughter of the Princess, because they look alike. It was in every paper with the title "The Princess of Friendship introduced her daughter, after hiding her from everyone for so many years". Twilight find this hilarious.
